A wonderful questing experience, or a marathon through QS?Hey, I just can't resist anymore. I have to say this.
I love quests. Not the kind where a kid asks you to find 8 or so toys, for which I go to spellborndb. No, I mean quests with seemingly deep emotional meaning. I mean, where else do you encounted quests which involve a huge lot of NPCs in a living situation, making this game seem like a world?
At the moment, I'm kinda low level. I have about 2 chars which are soon to "graduate" from hearth. I, like everyone else, do a lot of walking. So in the meantime, I read a book. What I find amazing is, just like the book, the quest are so intresting, I suspect the devs hired a professional author just to invent intresting quests. Do any of you see this in the same way, or are quests just ways to level?
I personally like The Best Of Intentions... +followup and The Girl With Sadness In Her Voice + the entire chain from that point on. Aldenvault water conspiracy. The guy who thinks I'm his father. The lying men with walking sticks. The rough husband who, despite badmouthing his wife, stands in Green Dist, waiting for his wife. How rune quests "affect" the world from the moment you initiate the ..Initiation.
